A new Noctua CPU cooler has arrived in machine housings suffering from space constraints

--

The type that fits next to the 44 mm high memory modules works with an air stirrer placed on top.

Noctua has made a name for itself with a low-profile and top-flow processor cooler called the NH-L12Sx77, which is 77 mm tall, 128 mm wide, and 131 mm deep.

The aluminum fins are connected to the nickel-plated copper base by six heat-conducting tubes fixed by soldering, and a 120 mm NF-A12x15 PWM fan, whose frame is only 15 mm thick, is mounted on the bottom of the slats. Consuming up to 1.56 watts, the wind machine with SSO2 bearings can vary the revolutions per minute in the stretching range from 450 to 1850, and the maximum air transport of the blades of 94.2 m³ per hour is associated with a noise level of 23.9 dB.

The compact 520 gram construction with 100 NSPR (Noctua’s Standardized Performance Rating) performance is also compatible with air stirrers with a standard 25 mm thick frame, while it can be installed on Intel LGA115x, LGA1200, LGA1700, LGA1851 and AMD Socket AM4 and AM5 sockets. If we want to pair the cooling with Intel LGA20xx, LGA1366 or LGA775 housings, we need to purchase the optional (but free upon presentation of invoice) NM-I3 and NM-i20xx mounting kit.

In addition to the required SecuFirm2 fittings, the box of the product, which is sold with a 6-year warranty at a price of 85 euros, includes an NA-RC7 LNA (Low-Noise Adaptor) adapter that regulates the rotation speed, a small syringe of NT-H2 thermal paste, and a metal sticker with an owl.
