We rarely see something like this: a Switch conversion of a game is announced, which is first canceled, and then several years later (!) comes the announcement that the port for the big N platform is still being developed…

KeokeN Interactive and Wired Productions have announced that four years after canceling the Switch port, Deliver Us The Moon is still being made for Nintendo’s hybrid platform. KeokeN developers and brothers Paul and Koen Deetman said in the press release: “We’re thrilled to announce that Deliver Us The Moon is coming to Switch soon, thanks to another valuable partnership with Wired Productions. By bringing our immersive experience to this console, we’re opening new ways for players to immerse themselves in our world wherever they are. Join us on this exciting journey, we can’t wait to bring this adventure to Nintendo fans around the world.”

Leo Zullo, co-founder and CEO of Wired Productions added, “The story of Deliver Us The Moon and Wired began in early 2019 at PAX. We loved the game, but more importantly, we felt connected to the Deetman brothers and their values. To be still working on the final piece of the Deliver Us The Moon puzzle five years later is something special. KeokeN Interactive is one of the best storytellers out there, and for Switch players to experience this game, no one thought it was technically possible at one time, but I’m so happy to be here today, back in mission control, and counting down the days until takeoff. .”

Deliver Us The Moon is a sci-fi thriller set in an apocalyptic near future where Earth’s natural resources have been depleted. Seeking to solve the energy crisis, the global powers created the World Space Agency (WSA) and provided a promising new source of energy on the moon. The WSA colonized and operated the Moon until one fateful night all communication with Earth was lost and the power source was lost. Now, years later, you take on the role of the last astronaut on Earth on a do-or-die mission to find out what happened and save humanity. Our only companion during the adventure is a small robot called ASE. Together, we will explore the moon, explore abandoned facilities, collect clues, and finally uncover the secrets and hidden plans of the long-lost.

The narrative focuses on current issues such as climate change and the depletion of the world’s natural resources. Experience both indoor and outdoor gameplay as Deliver Us The Moon (powered by Unreal Engine 4) takes you on a genre-bending narrative adventure. Launch a rocket from Earth, travel through the WSA space station, and explore the open lunar landscape with weightless freedom on foot, by rover, or by monorail. The ruins of previous lunar missions hide many stories and secrets. Let’s use astrotool to explore the history of the lunar colony. With the ASE drone, we can use humanity’s greatest technology from modern spacesuits, cutting lasers, rockets and robotic arms.

With oxygen tanks running out and the never-ending emptiness of space, staying alive won’t be so easy. Overcome obstacles, dangers blocking the way and discover the secrets of the past using different tools and your wits to solve complex puzzles. Inspired by cinema’s greatest sci-fi masterpieces, Deliver Us The Moon features three hours of original music and a stunning soundtrack that rivals the movies.

A Nintendo Switch port of Deliver Us The Moon is coming sometime this year. In addition, it has long been available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
