It’s been three years since the ByteRocker’s Games game, that is Insurmountable has arrived on PC. THE Daedalic Entertainment in the game published under his care, we could play a mountaineer who came to a mysterious island to climb the gigantic mountain peaks towering above the clouds and unravel their mythical secrets.
The gameplay turned out to be quite special, as the players did not have to deal with the technical and physical difficulties of specific mountain climbing. Instead, they had to manage their character’s sheer survival as they navigated him through cliffs, valleys, crevasses, caves, and peaks. The tracks were built from hexagons, and different situations and interactions could be performed on certain tiles. One of the big red points in the game was that it wasn’t enough to get to the top, you had to come down from there!
The developers already indicated in 2021 that after Insurmountable PC, it will also be ready for consoles. At the time, they dated it so that this could take place even in that calendar year, but as it turned out, they accounted for themselves quite a bit. So much so that the console premiere only took place today.
