It’s rare as a white raven to be able to write about bringing forward the release of a game, perhaps that’s why it’s so gratifying to see that instead of indefinitely postponing the release of a game that is often half-finished, they bring it forward. Of course, this is only true if we get a ready-made address anyway.

Morbid: The Lords of Ire will be the latest representative of the horrorpunk genre. Many elements of Lovecraftian horror return, such as hideous horrors and a very serious emphasis on the sanity of our mind, but unmasked brutality will also be one of the main features of the game. Of course, the gameplay will contain souslike elements at many points, and we can test how true this is on PC and PlayStation based on the available demo.

The finished game was originally scheduled to be released on May 23 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. However, based on the latest trailer shown above, the game will be available on May 17, and we will also be able to play it on Xbox One. Why the PlayStation 4 port of the game did not fit next to the previous generation Xbox and Nintendo Switch is a mystery.
