Razer’s latest controller, the Kishi Ultra, has arrived, which can not only be connected to our mobile phone, but is also compatible with our PC.
23.04.2024 – The time when you could play Space Impact or Snake on our mobile devices is long gone. So much so that, for example, Apple has officially called the new iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphone a gaming device, which already natively runs titles such as Death Stranding or Resident Evil 4 Remake. We are still far from these gadgets competing with larger consoles, such as Xbox or PlayStation, but thanks to Cloud Gaming, with a little help, we can even run games that we would push on these machines. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, for example, gives you the opportunity to play the available Xbox titles anywhere and anytime. All you need is a screen, internet access, and in some cases a controller. Fortunately, thanks to Bluetooth, we can now associate almost any controller with our mobile phone, so if it has Internet access or a Wi-Fi connection, it can essentially function as a console.
Razer has made it big again
Razer is a company that has been striving to make gaming a real experience for many years. They were the ones who created the machine that is portable, light, thin and even strong with the Blade gamer laptop series. To this day, it is one of the most comfortably portable laptop families, whose performance is also to be admired. But their peripherals are also disgustingly good, whether it’s a headset, a mouse, or a keyboard. And while we’re at it, they also manufacture controllers, even ones that are made specifically for smartphones.
An example of this is the new Razer Kishi Ultra launched on the market a few days ago, which thanks to its adjustable size can be attached to countless mobile phones or tablets. Since it is blessed with a USB-Cs connector, it is also good for newer iPhones designed based on the European standard. The controller also has two joysticks, a D-pad, ABXY buttons and triggers, so suddenly it’s as if we’ve turned our mobile into a handheld console. What’s more, thanks to the free Razer Nexus application, we can even customize the gaming experience with it. What makes the new controller even more exciting is that you can even connect it to your computer and thus use it as a Bluetooth controller, it is not only compatible with your phone.
Thanks to such and similar devices, it is no longer necessary to buy a separate console for gaming while traveling, our phone, which is in our pocket anyway, is more than enough. Since it is a special piece, the price is quite high, around HUF 65,000. Of course, it’s still much cheaper than buying yourself a Nintendo Switch…
