Poco’s tablet has started collecting licenses

--

The Poco Pad is expected to have 33-watt charging and 8-megapixel cameras.

The name Poco Pad is not yet certain, but the existence of Poco’s first tablet is confirmed by several acquired licenses. For example, the FCC clearly reports on the HyperOS 1.0 system, the Wi-Fi 6 modem, and the 33-watt charging, and that a European model was investigated. And another source talks about two 8-megapixel cameras, one with an f/2 aperture and electronic stabilization, and the other with an f/2.3 aperture. The first will probably be the front camera, which may receive more emphasis.

Based on the rumors, Poco’s first tablet could be a slightly modified Redmi Pad Pro, equipped with 8 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 system chip. Four speakers are expected with Dolby Atmos support, as well as a 12.1-inch LCD display with 120 Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The operating time can be provided by a 10,000 mAh battery, and as revealed by the FCC data, the tablet will come with the Android 14 system. It is said that a pen and keyboard case will also be made, these will probably be extras that can be purchased separately.
