In 2020, Mercedes-Benz entered into cooperation with ic! berlin with glasses workshop.
Unsurprisingly, the Berlin-based company has been making high-tech, screwless glasses using tinan and carbon fiber materials since 1996, of course the models made for the Stuttgart car brand are also like this.
The collection includes four different glasses twice, the MB pieces use the design features, design language and colors of cars with the three-pointed star, rather they are characterized by simplicity. The MB 18 and MB 18 models are frames for optical lenses, while the MB 19 and MB 20 are sunglasses.
The AMG-inspired pieces are of course bolder, taking on the more adventurous character of sports cars. There are also frames for optical lenses called AMG 12 and 13, while AMG 14 and AMG 15 are sunglasses. The numbers 14 and 15 rhyme with the carbon fiber materials also used in cars. it is made of Berlin’s own, very flexible material called Flexarbon.
