AOC is coming to the professional display market with monitors with high color fidelity – PCW

AOC has been present in the monitor market for a long time, where it attracted attention with its fairly fair displays intended primarily for gamers. Most recently, we took a look at its entry under the name 27G4X, with a 180 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time and HDR10 support, which turned out to be one of the best value for money gamer monitors.

The manufacturer will soon also venture into the market of professional panels, where with the Graphic Pro U3 series it is primarily aimed at users performing creative work, who can choose from three models according to their needs.

The range of products includes two 27-inch (68.6 cm) displays, the Q27U3CV model with QHD resolution and the U27U3CV model with 4K UHD resolution, as well as the larger 31.5-inch (80 cm) U32U3CV panel, also with 4K UHD resolution.

The specialty of the Graphic Pro U3 product line is that its members have exceptional color accuracy. Thanks to their DeltaE < 2 value and their 98 percent DCI-P3 color space coverage, the panels boast impressive color fidelity, thus ensuring the precise reproduction of shades and the display of wide color scales.

According to the manufacturer, the highlight of the Graphic Pro U3 series is the Calman Ready certification, which enables direct communication with Portrait Displays’ Calman color calibration software. With the help of the program, the monitors take advantage of the automatic calibration capabilities (AutoCal), thereby striving for color accuracy. For the best image performance, RGB-triplet control and 1D/3D-LUT profiling are also possible.

There are no complaints about the inputs either, as they are equipped with HDMI 1.4/2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports, as well as a versatile USB-C hub and RJ-45 input. In order to connect additional peripherals, we can also find four USB-A ports on the displays.

The monitors with a clean, modern design have a 150 millimeter height adjustable base and a wide range of tilting, tilting and rotating settings, so they can be comfortably customized.

AOC’s Graphic Pro U3 series will be available from July 2024; the 27-inch panels will cost 349 and 469 euros, while the 31.5-inch model will go on the shelves for 589 euros.
