In the quarter-finals, Peter Wright lost and was eliminated with another defeat against Michael van Gerwen, but anyway he had only a mathematical chance to reach the top four for a long time. Van Gerwen celebrated his 35th birthday that day, but he couldn’t be too happy as he easily lost to Rob Cross in the semi-finals.

Among the four, Nathan Aspinall lost a “dead-end” battle against Luke Littler. Aspinall missed five match arrows and Littler scored the first…

This is how we arrived at the Littler-Cross final, which did not contain much excitement. Littler won the first five legs, and although Cross improved, he could no longer avoid defeat. Little won the final 6–2 and thus the tournament, taking the overall lead.

Next week, the field will visit Aberdeen, Scotland.
