The 31-year-old CL-winning goalkeeper was injured after an unfortunate move and left the Real Madrid training ground in tears. The Spanish club announced in a short statement on its official website that the tests carried out diagnosed an internal meniscus tear in his right knee, which is why he needs to be operated on again. Courtois was extremely unlucky, as both knees were seriously injured within eight months.
