Florentino Pérez became suspicious because he had a long conversation with the referee before the Real Madrid-Barcelona match.
An unusual phenomenon was reported by the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, which knows that the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez, had a long conversation with the referee before El Clásico, Sportal wrote.
Earlier, we also reported on the controversial refereeing decisions of one of the most exciting matches of the Spanish league season, El-Clásico.
In the interest of historical fidelity, Real Madrid all but secured their title with a 3-2 victory over arch-rivals Barcelona. The members of the Catalan team and their coach, Xavi, spoke angrily after the match and questioned referee César Soto Grado’s decisions.
The sports newspaper Mundo now reported that Florentino Pérez had a long talk with the refereeing team a few hours before the match. The sports paper strongly hinted in its article that Pérez was not fair when communicating with the refereeing team:
“It was surprising how much pressure Real Madrid put on the match referee. The president of Real talked to the referee in the players’ exit before the decisive Clásico”
