In the division I/A tournament, the Hungarian team will meet the Japanese team in the first round, the South Korean team next Tuesday, the Romanian team on Wednesday, the host Italian team on Friday, and the Slovenian national team on Saturday. The top two from Bolzano will be promoted and will be able to play in the elite to be held next year in Stockholm and in Herning, Denmark, while the last one will be relegated to division I/B.
