Ibrahimovic appeared in Milanello on Monday

--

A special guest arrived at the Milanello training center on Monday for the team’s training.

MilanNews and Sky Sport Italia report that Zlatan Ibrahimovic visited Milanello on Monday morning and watched the team train ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League match against Newcastle United. On Saturday, the team ran into a heavy defeat and lost the Milan derby 5-1, so an immediate reaction is needed from the players in the next match.

The Swedish classic watched the last training session of the Rossoneri before the BL match tomorrow, talked to Stefano Pioli and met the players. During training, Zlatan also spoke with Giorgio Furlani, the CEO of Milan and the head of the sports department, Geoffrey Moncada.

Zlatan had already planned to visit his former teammates in Milanello before the derby against Inter, but he was only able to come now.

According to Italian journalist Nico Schira, it’s no secret that Furlani, Milan’s general manager, has been persuading Ibrahimovic to join the club’s management after his retirement. The 41-year-old Swedish classic nailed the stop list in June.
