A university in Paris already had to introduce distance learning due to pro-Palestinian demonstrations, after the protesters blockaded the entrance to the building. Demonstrations have now become commonplace at the most prestigious universities in the United States. There are places where classes are suspended to protect Jewish students from the anti-Semitic expressions of the demonstrators. Meanwhile, there are more and more signs that far-left organizations, such as György Soros’s Open Society Foundation, are supporting the pro-Palestinian movements.

Policemen dismantled the tents of the pro-Palestinian demonstrators at the German parliament building on Friday. The Berlin movement was disbanded after there were more than 30 violations of the law, such as hate speech. However, the demonstrators obstructed the work of the police, who eventually arrested 75 people.

The protesters demanded that Germany stop arms exports to Israel.

“We demand a ceasefire, the application of international law and the implementation of human rights for the Palestinians as well. The genocide has been going on for six months, and those who point at us, who are in power here in Germany and accuse us of anti-Semitism, extremism and hatred of Israel, I think this very government supports the genocide” said a protester.

Riot police had to be dispatched to a prestigious French university on Friday because of a pro-Palestinian demonstration. The protesting students wanted the institution’s management to stand by the Palestinians and condemn Israel for its offensive in Gaza.

Tensions are rising on US campuses, where pro-Palestinian protests have continued

Jewish students and teachers no longer feel safe at many universities. The management of several institutions has already requested the intervention of the police to eliminate the demonstrations.

The entrance to the Institute of Political Studies in Paris was also blocked by the protesters, which is why the institution switched to online education.
Similar scenes have been playing out for more than a week in the best higher education institutions in the United States. At a university in Ohio

the protesters also clashed with the police,

when the authorities tried to liquidate the tent camp of the demonstrators.

In Washington, protesting students blocked a campus street with prayer rugs. The demonstrators

in the American capital, they have been protesting against Israel’s support for days

– reported Balázs Náray, Washington correspondent of the public media.

Several people were detained by the police in Texas during the liquidation of the anti-Israel university demonstration

The group protesting against Israel formed a human chain and tried to prevent the authorities from dispersing an unauthorized assembly on the university grounds, in which mounted policemen also took part.

“The events already have consequences, even political consequences. Several of the democratic party politicians and representatives assured him of their support, mainly the representatives of the left wing of the democratic party. And the Republican Speaker of the House was already in New York this week at Columbia University, where he demanded the resignation of the university’s management, as well as the intervention of the police against the illegally built tent camps,” said the correspondent.

Columbia University was the first place where pro-Palestinian protesters set up tents 10 days ago. Since then, dozens of higher education institutions across the country have joined demonstrations in which

anti-Semitic manifestations are becoming more frequent.

In several places, teaching was suspended or switched to distance learning, and the authorities have already detained 500 people across the country, but the wave of protests has not been broken.
Far-left groups, including a Soros foundation and a Hamas-supporting organization, are supporting the student demonstration at Columbia University, the Daily Mail reported.

According to the British paper, one of the central organizations of the movement, for example, received support from György Soros’ Open Society Network, and since 2016 they have received at least 650,000 dollars, i.e. an amount equivalent to almost HUF 240 million.

Erdogan criticized the US authorities’ actions against pro-Palestinian university demonstrations

“The West is putting aside its values in the case of Israel,” said the Turkish president.

“György Soros is paying the radical students who incite the anti-Israel protests that are expanding to a national scale” – and this was written by the New York Post. The daily also named specific individuals who organize the demonstrations at the universities as far-left paid activists on behalf of the Soros organizations.

According to the article, the American Campaign for the Rights of Palestinians has been paid 300,000 dollars by the Open Society Foundation since 2017, but support has also flowed in from other organizations.
This money was used to pay university activists between $2,800 and $3,660 for eight hours of organizing work per week. And non-university activists were paid up to $7,800 for the same work.
