Klei Entertainment’s next game, Rotwood, is available in early access, which is perhaps not surprisingly a co-op roguelike, just like the development team’s big hit, Don’t Starve.
In the latest game from Klei Entertainment, Rotwood, we have to defeat the evil monsters living deep in the forest, fortunately not necessarily alone, since it is a co-op game, we can ask for the help of up to three friends.
The goal, of course, is to become more and more powerful, improving our weapons, abilities and tools. The developers promise exciting and wide-ranging combat mechanics. And anyone can test their claim because since last night the game has been available in early access status On Steam.
Klei Entertainment is a subsidiary of China’s Tencent. The Canadian development team consisted of roughly 100 people, and their best-known games are Don’t Starve (as well as the game’s essentially identical successor, Don’t Starve Together, with co-op option) and Oxygen Not Included. Based on the trailer, Rotwood is most similar to the former, several elements may be familiar from the video to Don’t Starve players.
