The cheapest device will be barely HUF 50,000.

Human Mobile Devices (HMD), the manufacturer of Nokia mobile phones, presented its first own-brand smartphones: HMD Pulse Pro, HMD Pulse+ and HMD Pulse. The specialty of the devices is that they can be easily repaired at home, so their lifespan can be much longer.

According to surveys, it is increasingly important for European customers that their devices can be repaired. The HMD now makes this possible, and so you won’t have to go to the service because of a scratched display, a bent charging port or even a tired battery.

All you need is an iFixit repair kit, an online quick guide, and a little confidence to fix it.

The manufacturer emphasizes the importance of the 50 megapixel front-facing camera on the top device, which can be used to take photos with a simple gesture. The device’s younger siblings, the HMD Pulse+ and HMD Pulse, offer up to 59 hours of battery life. The Pulse+ gets a 50-megapixel main camera and depth sensor, while the regular Pulse gets a 13-megapixel camera with AI HDR functionality.

  • The HMD Pulse 4/64 GB version, for HUF 50,000,
  • The HMD Pulse+ 4/128 GB version, for HUF 60,000,
  • The HMD Pulse Pro 8/256 GB version will be available at a price of HUF 75,000 from mid-May
