From Friday, the wholesale price of gasoline and diesel will also decrease, the former by HUF 3 gross, while wells will pay HUF 6 gross less for diesel. How this will be reflected in well prices on Friday is completely uncertain, writes the portal. According to the practice so far, we can expect that the prices of the wells will decrease by almost the same amount.
Based on the government communication, intervention can be expected in terms of fuel prices, the detailed rules of which are not yet known. If everything remains unchanged in terms of regulation, we can expect the following average prices:
- 95 gasoline: HUF 647/liter
- Gas oil: HUF 633/liter
The recent decrease can be partly explained on a market basis, although it is possible that we can also see the effect of government communication and agreements with fuel market players. Anyway, the diesel purchase price it fell significantly in the weeks behind us, since Wednesday last week we saw a 7.8 percent decrease, a much smaller margin reduction for gasoline (2%). In parallel, it is oil price sided along smaller swings, a HUF and strengthened minimally against the dollar.
Last week, Portfolio reported that for the first time since last August, the price of diesel per liter is cheaper than that of gasoline, and the scissors are opening further with the current price change.
