Capcom has its priorities wrong!

The game still doesn’t have the right performance, but the Japanese publisher doesn’t seem to care about that, because they are more focused on updating the content of Dragon’s Dogma 2, even though the audience says that the game doesn’t run well despite the patches so far…

Capcom announced on Twitter that another update is coming later this month with more fixes and tweaks. Dragonplague infection will be less common, and if it occurs, our pawns (pawns) will carry it more visibly. For example, their eyes will light up more. On the status and shop screens, it will be possible to zoom in on the faces of Arisen and pedestrians. Fixed and tweaked a few things on the minimap. For example, treasure chests that have already been opened will no longer be visible on it.

Pedestrian behavior and dialogue have been modified. Until now, it was a bug that sometimes you couldn’t chat with them, this bug has been removed. There is no longer any complaint that they do not show us directions, even though they offer this. They are less likely to fall into the abyss. Some of their texts are repeated less often and have expressions more appropriate to the circumstances. Sometimes they wouldn’t speak outside of fights, but that bug was fixed, and there was also a bug where the main footman would speak the text of the sidekicks. Foot soldiers will be more inclined to assist if the Arisen asks them to do so while opponents are holding him down. Pedestrians are less likely to be picked up while we are in the field. They’ve also made inroads into follow-up, trade-off missions, and won’t feel like a failure when using the character editor. They don’t lock you up if you fight monsters inside the city. Outages and freezes are rare, and bug fixing has not been left out either.

We would like to highlight two of the answers, which were the first to be sent by Twitter. The first one says you want a performance-tuned graphics mode on consoles (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series). And the second wrote, “What? Correct the performance first!”. Some people think it’s unbelievable that performance is still not being addressed, while others ask: wait for the PlayStation 6 to play at 60 FPS…?

All we would say to Capcom is that it’s a somewhat stupid approach.
