The story of the 25-year-old woman from Belfast, who is currently working five jobs at the same time in order to have a sense of financial security, has stirred up a lot of dust on the Internet. An unexpected emergency prompted Kat Gallagher to take this step: she became unemployed in September. He immediately started looking for a job – because of this, he realized that he had to stand on several legs in order to get money for everything. First, he was hired in two pubs and, in addition to them, in a restaurant.

Not long after, he found a full-time job, which he does from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, but he didn’t give up on catering either: he continues to take shifts in pubs and restaurants. Gallagher is not idle on weekends either, he works as an assistant throughout Saturdays and Sundays, so he works about 70 hours a week. It is also 85 on faster weeks.

Through his extra work, he now earns almost 3 thousand pounds (1.29 million forints) a month,
so she and her boyfriend, 24-year-old Josh Caldwell, don’t have to worry about anything, they live well.

I suddenly had a lot of work. I decided to keep them all for comfort. I want to get to the point where it doesn’t matter what happens – I’ll have enough money to fall back on in case of an emergency. I never want to be in such a stressful situation again

– explained the 25-year-old woman, who doesn’t deny that she can never relax and doesn’t have time to move, so she doesn’t recommend anyone to dictate such a pace.
