As you know, on Friday our U21 national team ended with a 2-0 defeat at the home of group favorite Spain on the fifth game day of the European Championship qualifying series, and on Tuesday the team will play against the Scots at home.
On Monday afternoon, MLSZ announced on its official website that there were some changes in the squad against the Scots: MTK Budapest midfielder Mihály Kata and Kecskemét forward Krisztofer Horváth joined Zoltán Gera’s team from the A team, while Puskás Academy player György Komáromi left training camp due to injury.
Horváth Krisztofer also played for Marco Rossi’s team against Montenegro on Sunday evening, replacing Callum Styles in the 64th minute.
Our team will have a reason to fight back, as the Scots took a 3-0 lead in the 32nd minute and eventually won the match 3-1. Since then, our opponent on Tuesday was able to record a heroic victory, beating Belgium, one of the strongest teams in the group, 2-0 away.
Szoboszlai said: “This is just the beginning, next summer we will do something that will be unforgettable!” What would make the European Championship unforgettable for you?
