A man was walking his Staffordshire terrier dog at night in Csepel on October 1, 2022. They met a group of five people walking a dog that also had Staffordshire breed marks, when they got into an argument over something.
During the argument, the two dogs jumped at each other and started fighting. At that time, several people from the group of five took out their knives and threatened to beat and kill the man. At one point, one of them kicked him, and while he was on the ground, the others stabbed his dog with knives.
When the man got up and started to separate the still clinging ones, one of the 16-year-old boys from the group stabbed him several times with a knife, and then a 17-year-old boy also stabbed him. Meanwhile, the others cheered the Staffordshire terrier to death.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries, but ultimately survived the attack. The 16-year-old and 17-year-old boys are accused of attempted murder as accomplices and their adult companions as accomplices. The prosecutor’s office requested a prison sentence and that the attackers be denied parole, the prosecutor’s office writes.
