On the evening of April 25, Slipknot played an exclusive club concert in Pioneertown, California, at Pappy + Harriet’s, in front of only a few hundred spectators. The show officially functioned as a warm-up before the band’s weekend performance at the festival in Las Vegas, where they will play as the headliner of the Sick New World event. The band appeared twenty-five years ago this year debut album in costumes reminiscent of his era, he took to the stage with a special set, moreover, for the first time with the successor of Jay Weinberg, who was fired last fall. Admission was only $9.
Although the identity of the drummer has still not been officially announced, the recordings also confirm what was previously believed to be probable in the industry: according to all indications, the new drummer of the team is Eloy Casagrande, lured away from Sepultura. On June 5, singer Corey Taylor will perform a solo concert in Budapest organized by Live Nation, current CMF2 as part of his album tour. The venue of the concert will be the Barba Negra Red Stage.
