Did Majka take Curtis’ place? The rapper revealed why he won’t be appearing on any shows this year

Majka and Curtis they formed one of the country’s most successful rap formations, until 2018, when Curtis he did not appear at the Szeged Youth Days during the concert. At that time, Majka publicly told the disappointed fans that the rapper from Újpest had a problem with drugs and therefore could not perform. After a short break for smiles, the duo got back together, but in the summer of 2022, the previous incident was repeated,

and then they parted ways.

In December of last year, Majka shared the big news on her Facebook page that after a long time she had returned to RTL, where she started 21 years ago. Recently, it was also revealed that the Ózd kid will strengthen the X-Faktor’s mentoring team. Curtis reacted diplomatically to the announcement and wished his former musician partner much success.

Curtis is now a Moved in with Péter Hajdú was a guest of the show, where he recalled that he had recently participated in all important RTL productions and won several, but this year we certainly can’t expect him to appear in any large-scale show. When Péter Hajdú asked Curtis the question that –

“can’t two pipers fit in one tavern?”

– referring to Majka’s transfer to RTL.

Curtis did not deny that this could indeed have played a role in his omission, and then revealed that for a while it was thought that he would transfer to TV2, where an old talent show, Megastar, will return this year, but in the end they could not agree on the finances.

Curtis also said that not only did he get this one request, but he feels that he is now at a level where he can say no to such and such requests and only wants to appear in music shows. He also revealed that he was surprised and somewhat disappointed that Majka would pave the way for the talents of the X-Factor as a mentor. At the same time, he did not rule out the possibility of returning to the screen in some form next year.
