On Saturday, the British girl band, the Spice Girls, got together again, even if spontaneously and only for a single song. Speaking of which, it was Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday, at which the other members of the band, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie Chisholm, were also present in London.

The number performed spontaneously at the party is one of their most popular hits, a Stop was, and the scene was recorded and shared by her celebrated husband, David Beckham, on his Instagram page.

The fans received the video with excitement: “David, you are the best social media manager” one of them wrote. According to another commenter “this was the moment the whole world was waiting for”. And others began begging the band to go on tour.

The party was reportedly held at Oswald’s private club in London and was attended by celebrities including Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Gordon Ramsey.

The Spice Girls were formed in 1994 and disbanded in 2000. Since then, although several attempts have been made to start over, none of the attempts were sustainable. They toured in 2007, 2019 and also performed at the closing event of the 2012 London Olympics.
