This November, it will be 40 years since the first part of the cult horror film series A Nightmare on Elm Street was released. The original story had six episodes, followed by The New Nightmare: Freddy Rises and Freddy vs. It was followed by the movie Jason, and a remake was made in 2010. Heather Langenkamp At the age of 20, she played the main character, Nancy Thompson. This was his third film in his career. After that, he next appeared in the third episode, and he also appeared in Freddy Rises. The actress married rock and jazz pianist Alan Pasqua in 1984, the year the first episode was released, from whom she divorced three years later.
Heather Langenkamp met her second husband, makeup artist David LeRoy Anderson, in ’88, and they married a year later. They had two children, but their son Daniel died of brain cancer in 2018 at the age of 26. Their daughter, Isabelle Anderson, is now 29 years old.
Langenkamp and her husband run the AFX studio together, where the 59-year-old actress works as a special makeup effects coordinator. He didn’t stop acting either, most recently in the 2022 film Glitch and in the series The Midnight Club, which was also shown on Netflix this year. Amanda Wyss She was 24 when she played the role of Tina Gray in A Nightmare on Elm Street. He was the first to meet Freddy Krueger in a dream, and he was also the first to be killed. This was the sixth production in his career in which he appeared, but many others followed.
Wyss was last seen by fans in 2022’s The Rookie. Now 63, this photo was taken with Heather Langenkamp, who plays Nancy, on day two of the 2017 Monsterpalooza horror film convention at the Pasadena Convention Center in California.

Nick Corry (left) played Tina Gray’s boyfriend at 21. In the film, Nancy’s father arrests her for Tina’s murder, so she ends up dying in prison, which the authorities believe to be a suicide. This was Corri’s second film as an actor, and although he later continued his career in front of the cameras, over time he took on more and more producing roles.
Today, 60-year-old Nick Corri co-leads the production company Scott JR Productions with author John-Roger Hinkins, and also plays a leading role in the author’s Spiritual Inner Awareness movement. Johnny Depp: Many people are probably surprised that Nancy’s love Glen Lantz is played by 21-year-old Johnny Depp in the film. He is the last to die at the hands of Freddy Krueger.
The career and life path of the currently 60-year-old Depp is known to everyone, the last time there was a huge hype around him when he was in a lawsuit with his ex-wife, Amanda Heard. Due to the allegations of abuse, Depp fell out of roles until the American court declared his innocence. After that, he got his next role in 2023 in the film Jeanne du Barry – The Lover, and next we will see him in the production Modì, which is being produced under his own direction. The work deals with the life of the late Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. Depp is also pursuing his music career. As for his private life, in 2022 he and his ex-lawyer, Joelle Rich, were in the news, but they stopped seeing each other towards the end of the year. The three-time Oscar-winning actor is currently a facelifter.

Ronee Blakley: Nancy’s mother, Marge Thompson, was played by Ronee Blakley when she was 39. Blakley began her career as a singer in the ’70s. He released his first album containing his own songs in 1972, at the age of 27. A Nightmare on Elm Street was his 11th film. Blakley has also taken on theater roles and performed on behalf of many political and social causes, especially civil rights and women’s equality. Later, he tried his hand at writing and producing. He last worked in such a role in the 2012 production “Of One Blood”, in which he also starred with his daughter. Her daughter, writer Sarah Blakley-Cartwright, was born in 1988 to screenwriter Carroll Cartwright.
Blakley, now 78, had one husband, German film director Wim Wenders, from 1979 to 1981. He released his last, 12th music album in 2020 under the title Atom Bomb Baby, and he last appeared in a film in 2019 in the Netflix production Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese. John Saxon At the age of 48, he took on the role of Nancy’s father, Donald Thompson, who works as a police officer. During his career, the actor played in more than 200 films, he got his first role at the age of 18 in the work It Should Happen to You. After his fifth film, he became a real teen idol, and from then on his career took off sharply. At the time of the release of the film A Nightmare on Elm Street, he was already considered an accomplished actor.
This photo of Saxon was taken in 2006 at the 16th 1000 Stars Night Awards Gala at the Beverly Hill Hotel in California. At that time, he mostly only acted in independent films and was a regular guest at various horror and cult film meetings. Before his death in 2020, he last appeared in the film The Extra, released in 2017. Three years later, at the age of 83, he died of complications from pneumonia during the coronavirus epidemic.
John Saxon married three times in his life, the first of which produced a son, Antonio. His last marriage to model Gloria Martel Saxon lasted until his death.

Robert Englund
Robert Englund shaped the character of Freddy Krueger, the disfigured killer with burnt skin. At the age of 37, the actor hid himself in the “skin” of the ghost that kills people in their sleep, and this was his 15th film. Ultimately, this character brought him world fame and his commitment to horror films, for which he became a cult figure.

Over the years, Englund, who is now 76 years old, also started a career as a director, his first own film was the supernatural horror 976-EVIL. He acted in much more than directing and is still active today. Most recently, he worked in the animated horror film Abruptio, which was released last year, and before that he played himself in Choose or Die! in the 2022 British horror film. He also plays in series, most recently Curses, which debuted on Apple TV+ last year! appeared in the adventure series.
