In the film, mainly improvising actors want to retroactively get the amount that any other actor member of the actors’ union would have received for the same amount of work.

In an open letter, he demands retroactive payment and decent royalties in the future Nervousness (The Blair Witch Project) the cast of the film after it was announced that a reboot of the 1999 horror film is being made, the Guardian reports.

Actors Rei Hance, Joshua Leonard and Michael Williams, who appeared in the film mainly through improvisations, refer to the fact that they were not adequately represented by any actors’ union at the time, neither legally nor financially, and therefore, on the one hand, they want to retroactively receive the amount that Sag- Members of the Aftra trade union would receive it, on the other hand, they would like to receive royalties after all future sequels and reboots.

They believe they themselves were the creative creators of the film, which has since spawned two sequels, novels, comics, and a video game, with studio Lionsgate announcing another film this month.

The actors are also urging the establishment of a 60,000-dollar scholarship per year, which would be given to an unknown filmmaker to make his first film; that was the budget of the film, which cost almost 250 million dollars.
