The waste haulers were also upset that the company hired inspectors, mostly retired police officers, whose job it is to follow the garbage trucks in their cars and check whether the garbage collectors get paid or not, whether the trash is registered, which is emptied or not.

The inspectors earn HUF 100-150 thousand more than the garbage collectors themselves. According to them, those who check them receive a net salary of 350-400 thousand
