The intoxicated 20-year-old man shot at a family with a gas pistol on Tuesday on highway 4, Tények reported.
The young man traveled from Nyíregyháza to Debrecen with a friend. There was a traffic jam, so you could only drive at 70 kilometers per hour. They closely followed the car in front of them, and then began to overtake. When they were next to each other, the 20-year-old man deliberately shot at the car passing by with a gas-disarming weapon.
A married couple, their 8-year-old child and their dog were traveling in the car. They were very scared by the shot, so they pulled off the road. The father of the family did not want the perpetrators to escape, so he finally began to follow them. The driver read the license plates of the shooters and then called 112.
The young people were finally caught by the police in Debrecen. Tények knows that the 20-year-old perpetrator was under the influence of drugs. Investigators found gunpowder on both men’s hands.
