The team from Bakony started the match brilliantly, which surprised the people from the capital. Eszter Sevinger dominated the first set, to which the Angyalfölds could not respond (25-15).
In the second half, the picture of the game completely changed, and nothing came together in favor of the Veszprém team. The guests easily equalized (13-25).
In the third act, the uncertainty on the part of the home side was felt, which the capital city took full advantage of and turned the game around (19-25).
The first half of the fourth set brought head-to-head play, but in the continuation, Vasas SC scored a point at the end of the duel, so they reached the final.
VESC will fight for the bronze medal with either TFSE or Zugló.
Ádám Tumpech: – Unfortunately, from the second set, we made as many mistakes as would have been enough for two matches. I had the feeling that it was not the same team that continued to play after the first inning.
Gábor Kőnig: – Today, our patience was the key, we knew that Veszprém would lose to us at home, but we were able to wait for the point, after which we were able to turn the very good atmosphere of the match to our advantage.
