The NEKA team won by ten goals in the last round of the Somogy-Baranya county championship against the leader PEAC, thus securing the championship title. Zoltán Lehőcz’s team won the first championship gold medal of the 2023/2024 season.

Zoltán Lehőcz: I congratulate the guys, they won today’s county rally and thus the championship with a disciplined, patient, tactical and yet dynamic game. Of course, this is primarily a development league for us, where we can provide the players with a sufficient amount of playing opportunities and where the entire squad can practice our system, but at the same time, I feel that this season we had more games than usual from which we could learn a lot. Let’s keep going, our goal is to be able to celebrate at the end of another call!
WITH A PLAYFUL EYES
Ákos Hulló: We started the match well, we were able to go ahead quickly with 3-4 goals, but the more routine team from Pécs was able to catch up, so the match was still close at the beginning of the second half. Fortunately, in the end we managed to grind the opponent and win the match. Congratulations for the team
