The young man was surrounded by four people, and luckily he was not physically injured, in any case, his mother spoke up quite rightly because of the frustrating public safety situation.

The boy was on his way home in the evening when he was surrounded and threatened, and one of the four attackers had a machete in his hand. The shocked mother reported the incident in a Szolnok Facebook group, and it was also read about on Szol24.

“The incident happened about half an hour ago at the railway station. “Four dirty, snotty children surrounded my son, one of them had a knife in his hand,” he wrote. There were no physical injuries, but he added, “What’s going on in this city is horrible.” He also asked the question that concerns many, where is public safety?

A local resident told Bors that he is not surprised that something like this happens near the train station. “The presence of beggars and dubious figures is regular there. Many people just beg and either get a small amount or not, but there is no particular problem with them. But there are figures whom I would not like to approach in the evening either.”

The paper also contacted the police to see if an official report had been received, and if the authorities responded, they promised to update the article.
