– Hungary is the country of freedom of speech and opinion, a country where even conservative ideas can be expressed – said Péter Szijjártó in his speech at CPAC Hungary. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade stated that this is a big thing because those who come to Hungary come to a country that is part of an integration whose center is called Brussels.
Those who came to CPAC were able to take part in a strange journey, as they came to an island without having to board a ship, boat or ferry. They have come to an island that is a conservative and patriotic island in a raging sea of extreme liberals. They have come to an island that is constantly under siege, but this siege is at least as strange as the journey, because it is not done with warships, but with completely different weapons. With weapons that are derided as the rule of law, the liberal mainstream, the freezing of EU financial resources, gender propaganda or even the migration quota
– recorded the head of the ministry. He emphasized that Hungary has been successfully defending itself against the siege of the liberal mainstream and the attacks of the liberal mainstream for 14 years. – And if they ask what’s wrong with us in Brussels, what’s wrong with us in the liberal mainstream, then these are exactly the three things, that it’s been fourteen years, that we’ve been successful, and that we’re defending ourselves. This combination is simply not digestible for liberals. Because they cannot digest that two things are happening at the same time. One of them is that since 2010, in every parliamentary election in Hungary, a two-thirds conservative victory has been achieved, regardless of the composition of the foreign clients who fielded the opposition, underlined Szijjártó.
