Luxury equipment, weapons and hundreds of millions were found among the members of the Szolnok drug gang

Upon our request, the press department of the Szolnok Court informed our news portal about the decision, but also about the antecedents of the crime.

From crystal to beer to brown bread

The case goes back several years, the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against the four-person drug dealer gang on April 22, 2022.

The product range of drug dealers was very colorful:

…and they offered products to their customers under many other fancy names.

They bought themselves hundreds of millions

The business went well, the two brothers became fabulously rich. They lived in luxurious luxury from their income of hundreds of millions. They went on expensive trips, bought expensive cars and gold jewelry, and accumulated more than two hundred million forints and thousands of euros in cash in their homes. The fact that the police found two unlicensed firearms and ammunition in the older brother’s garage tells a lot about their lifestyle.

All four of them got heavy years

The Court of Szolnok held twenty hearings in the case and delivered a verdict on the last one, on April 19.

His brother, the second-rate defendant, was sentenced to 14 years in prison and banned from public affairs for 10 years for the crime of drug trafficking as an accomplice, abuse of a new psychoactive substance as an accomplice, and firearms and ammunition abuse.

Their companions, the third and fourth defendants in the case, were both found guilty of the crime of drug trafficking and abuse of a new psychoactive substance, for which the former was sentenced to 10 years in prison and a 10-year ban from public affairs, while the latter was sentenced to 7 years in prison and a 7-year ban from public affairs.

The criminal case continues at the second level

The decision is not binding on any of the defendants. The prosecution took note of the verdict. However, the defendants and their defense attorneys filed an appeal primarily in order to obtain a different legal classification and partly to be acquitted, and secondly to mitigate, so the case continues at the second level, at the Szeged Court of Appeals.
