Prosecutor Katalin Stoller, Deputy Spokesperson of the Komárom-Esztergom County Prosecutor’s Office, informed Kemma.hu that the Komárom-Esztergom County Prosecutor’s Office filed an indictment against the man who had more than he kept half a kilogram of powder containing cocaine and amphetamines in his Tata home in order to resell it.
According to the indictment, before January 24, 2022, the man acquired cocaine and amphetamine-containing substances from an unknown person in order to regularly sell them to others.
The perpetrator divided a part of the drug into smaller portions and packed it in self-sealing plastic bags, and placed the other part in larger portions in the freezer part of the refrigerator and in the pantry of his home.
In its indictment, the prosecution proposed that a Court of Tatabánya sentence the man to a term of imprisonment and disqualification from public affairs, confiscate the seized drugs and the grinder, scales, caffeine and plastic bags used in the commission of the crime, as well as order confiscation of the 5 million forints seized from him.
The crime of drug trafficking in a significant amount of drugs is punishable by five to twenty years or life imprisonment in the Penal Code.
