At the end of this week and at the beginning of next week, the 101-year-old Váci Reménység Egyesület will have two traditional events of special importance, first the Béla Vanyek Memorial competition, then the founding canon and the leader of the re-foundation János Lehőcz laying a wreath on his memorial plaque.
The XXIX. to be held in the javelin and long jump competitions. The Dr. Béla Vanyek Memorial Competition will be held on Sunday in the sports center bearing the founder’s name, where participants from all over the country are expected to represent the sister associations.
On Monday, at 5 p.m., the wreath-laying ceremony of the memorial plaque of Béla Vanyek and János Lehőcz will begin at the association’s headquarters on Csányi út.
In the meantime, VRE has announced three day camp tournaments for elementary school students.
