Hungary is a wake-free zone, Budapest is not Brussels, no one wants to ban any event here, the operational director of the Center for Fundamental Rights declared on Thursday at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC Hungary) in Budapest.

Péter Törcsi stated: if the “communists” still had the power, they would try to ban CPAC, just as the Belgian left tried to do this in Brussels with the conference of national conservatism, however, “Woke has just as much power in Budapest as for the left party, which was put into opposition four times by two-thirds”.

He added that we can be proud that Hungary is the last refuge from the woke.

Among other things, the operational director formulated the task of the conference to further strengthen the international cooperation of national conservative forces.

“It is in vain that we live well and are rich compared to the rest of the world, if in the eyes of our increasingly powerful challengers we appear weak and resourceless,” he said, adding that the source of the troubles is the woke. According to his formulation, it is “a disease” whose nature is the same as that of communism, which, among other things, wants to completely erase the past by knocking down the statues of our ancestors, our greats, along with all the values from which civilization was built and which made it successful worldwide.

The concepts of God, home and family give meaning to our society, and they also give purpose to our lives

he emphasized.

Péter Törcsi said: the representatives of woke would silence everyone. In Brussels, the police are sent to those who oppose migration, war and gender, in Poland they imprison representatives for their views, and in the United States, the “land of freedom”, they wanted to ban the Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, from running in the elections, and “these people try to teach us about the rule of law and democracy every day,” he insisted.

And while Europe is dealing with gender and abortion, the other power centers are discussing how to get ahead of us on the runway, he added.

Péter Törcsi sees the importance of the 2024 election super year in “electing representatives” who will be able to put Europe on a developing path again, and in the United States, he believes that with the victory of Donald Trump, a strong president can end the period of war, because peace requires strength.

At the round table discussion held in the framework of the “Wokebusters – Drain the Swamp” program, Guglielmo Picchi, former Italian Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, director of international relations at the Macchiavelli Institute, said that CPAC is a great opportunity for the cooperation of conservative forces and for sharing experience, possible they share difficulties with each other.

The woke-ist left can be defeated with even closer cooperation of conservative forces

he said.

Ernst Roets, the executive director of the South African non-governmental organization AfriForum, said that South Africa is inspired by the optimists’ position and that his country is not behind Europe in some respects. He said that they discovered the importance of traditional community institutions, because they had not yet been infected by the woke trend.

Nemanja Starovic, the State Secretary of Defense of Serbia, also stressed the importance of community values, emphasizing that they still have some of these that are no longer present in Western Europe. He sees that migration and the woke cause a lot of problems for Serbia as well, this ideology, in his opinion, completely ignores reality.

The Serbian politician called the coexistence and cooperation between Serbia and Hungary as two sovereign states an excellent example. In addition to criticizing globalization, he believed in “true democracy”, adding: the people of Western Europe today can experience a non-democratic liberalism.

He recalled the period of the former unified Yugoslavia, which functioned well for a long time despite the fact that it was multi-ethnic, but when they wanted to take away the constitutional guarantee given to the nations forming the state, problems arose.

The Serbian politician mentioned the destruction of the Christian churches in Kosovo and the situation of the Serbs living there as an example to prove what the future of Europe could be like if somewhere, even “within a state or a former state”, a more radical Muslim trend becomes dominant.
