“I told everyone that those who haven’t seen it should come, and those who have seen it, because there will be surprises on this emotional roller coaster.” he said Dance teacher Borbála Kárai a A world for a world after a performance written, choreographed and directed by him.

In mid-December, the dance pedagogue of the modern dance department of the Liszt Ferenc Elementary School of Arts brought the world to the world for the first time together with his students. THE Primordial power embodied in dance subtitled performance was a huge success even then thanks to the original idea, the talented and prepared children, and the star guest of the production, Imre Vadkerti, who also carried the play on his shoulders at the second, more mature, better structured presentation on April 22.

It was not easy for the audience to interpret the story, the plot based on songs moved the imagination of the parents, grandparents, friends and interested parties gathered in the theater of the Petőfi Cultural Center. That is why we asked Boriska Kárai to help us formulate what to say.

– The relationship between man and woman – according to the show, the Warrior and the Innovator – is considered intimate and eternal, yet they must be separated from each other. Due to the terribly strong bond, the vision of separation and reunion appears even more painful. At the end of the story, it may turn out that the Warrior must overcome himself on the whirlwind path called life in order to create order in the outside world through his inner peace – said the play’s writer, director and choreographer, adding that compared to the December performance, five new scenes were added into the play. One of them is connected to Zina Vági. The student wrote a fantastic poem that inspired Boriska so much that she even changed the ending of the performance because of it. In this way, according to him, the original meaning of the play was perhaps better expressed. The teacher emphasized that he sees the key to success partly in the fact that the children’s performance evokes more intense feelings in the viewer and has a deeper effect than that of adults.

The children and their leader are grateful and happy that they had the opportunity to present the play twice in such a short time, and both times in front of a full house. After the performance, Mayor Zoltán Dávid commented on what he had seen.

– It is difficult to speak, because we had a cathartic experience, which I think strengthened the sense of Hungarianness in all of us. It’s amazing what Boriska accomplished, how she dreamed it up, then put it together, and forged the performance into a whole involving the young people. Imre Vadkerti was also fantastic. All of them could feel the enthusiasm, the complete experience of the play. For me, the main message of this production was that it is good to be Hungarian and that we should be proud of our Hungarianness. It was a great experience to be here today. I think that anyone who was part of this evening will always remember it – said Zoltán Dávid.
