He added: one of the possibilities for this is the construction of a bicycle path within tourism. As it was said: the bike path, realized in a consortium with the affected settlements, will be part of the Hajós-Érsekhalma bike path, which runs along highway 54 and already exists in the middle of the county, touching the banks of the Érsekhalm earthen castle, the cellars of Nemesnádudvar and the main Danube Canal (DVCS). , with the EuroVelo 6 international bicycle route running next to Sükösd, which contributes to the expansion of program opportunities related to tourism in the region.

László Rideg also spoke about the fact that it will be a novelty that the new cycling road section will not be built along the main road number 54, but “take it closer to nature”, since cyclists will also be much happier if they don’t have to cycle along a main road . “I think this will be a very nice section of the road,” added the president of the assembly.

Wine and gastro tourism can also develop in the region

The mayors of the settlements included in the consortium are also confident in the positive effects of the bike path, which can further develop wine and gastro tourism in the region. All settlements have cultural and natural values that can be attractive to tourists. By the way, the investment is also popular among the residents of all three affected settlements. Csaba Bekő, the mayor of Érsekhalma, spoke about how the planned cycle path not only connects the settlements, but also the attractions and values of the region.
