According to the information, after receiving the necessary approvals from the authorities, Mol’s subsidiary, Mol Vagyonkezelő Kft., acquired 2,654,061 series “A” ordinary shares corresponding to a 15.00% ownership share in Waberer’s International Nyrt. April 2024 on the 25th.

The daily trading list available on the Portfolio page, as well as the huge transaction can be seen on Waberer’s exchange rate page. It can be clearly seen that the share price suddenly fell before the transaction: around 3:00 p.m., the papers changed hands on the stock exchange at HUF 4,100, and then came the bond of more than 2.5 million units, at a 7.3% lower price. In the afternoon, the market value of the two huge bonds realized one after the other was over HUF 10 billion.

He had a history

The news is not new, as the oil company already announced last December: it signed an agreement with Indotek Group on the purchase of 15 percent of Waberer’s.

At the same time as the transaction, Mol and Waberer’s signed a strategic cooperation agreement, with which they will strengthen their business cooperation in the field of complex logistics services, alternative fuels, energy efficiency developments and green energy transition.
