The victim collected plastic waste in Tinny in March 2023. The driver stopped in front of a house for a few minutes with a waste transport vehicle, then got out to empty the containers, writes the Pest County Prosecutor’s Office.
The arriving offenders could not park in the house’s parking lot, as the trashed car was also there. The two men were so enraged by this that they attacked the victim who was at the back of the waste truck.
One of them kicked him in the leg, the other punched the victim on the head several times, and he eventually fell.
According to the announcement, the perpetrators did not stop the abuse, they kicked and hit the man several times. After the attack took place, the abused man drove away with the waste transporter. The driver sustained an injury that took more than eight days to heal.
The perpetrators were interrogated as suspects for the crime of grievous bodily harm. The two men admitted to the crime and showed remorse.
In the case, the Budakörnyék District Prosecutor’s Office suspended the proceedings for both perpetrators for a period of 1 year and 3 months, on the condition that they must participate in group personality development and aggression management training. The fulfillment of their obligations is checked by the guardian assigned to the offenders, they added.
