PMFC performs extremely poorly in the football NB II. In the 2023/2024 season, and is now fighting relegation tooth and nail, while if BVSC-Zugló doesn’t beat Siófok, who are in an even worse position, at the weekend, the red-blacks would still be below the line. The Munkás fan base has had enough of the continuous poor performance after the big loss against the Budapest Honvéd, so it is now waiting for answers to the questions that it could not ask in the fan questionnaire, considering that the association did not exist before the spring season.

The following questions were formulated by Munkás 1950:

Please let the PMFC fan community know what your plans are for our beloved club?

What are the current goals of PMFC? How do they want to keep the team in NB2?

Why did we let go of our already proven, good players and why did we bring in new people who are unknown, inexperienced and often do not understand this sport spectacularly?

If we do fall out of NB2, what are the plans for the next season?

In the event of relegation, how will they keep the already weak staff here, and if many players leave, what will they do with the already small guard for NB3.

Who is the professional director (sports director), what does he do and has anyone held him accountable for this “professional” job?

Does anyone investigate the management’s possible mistakes and bad certifications?

We can answer more and more of these, the professional director in the first half of the season was Attila Tóth, and we can say that he was held responsible after he was demoted to player observer, and László Jámbor was appointed in his place.

By the way, the fans’ questions resonate with those that our paper already asked when Ádám Weitner was fired:

  1. After failing to significantly strengthen or even expand the squad during the summer, will the club management hold you and the sports director Attila Tóth accountable as harshly as the coach?
  2. Why was it not possible to replace Tamás Nikitscher in terms of quality and character during two transfer periods, as well as Barna Kesztyűs and Bencé Kocsis, who left in the summer? One of the arrivals, Raul Krausz, Bálint Kártik, Martin Hudák, Gergő Gyurkits, is not the type of midfielder they were.
  3. Why did the club start the season with a healthy striker in the squad? Why didn’t anyone come when it became obvious that it was needed?
  4. What test and medical examination did Marcell Hornyák go through before his contract, after he was continuously injured last year? He couldn’t have been in good shape, as he was injured right after the first training match and after a few minutes in his first league match.
  5. Where is the team now in the process of having to fight for promotion in the third season, i.e. next year, which was said several times last season, including in the half-yearly fan survey?

Then we got this answer:

“PMFC always starts the season with the best possible framework, and every employee of the club – players, management, professional and technical staff alike – works to perform at its best. As for personal issues, if there are any, we will always continue to report on our own platforms.”
