Previously, Jabil Circuit Magyarország Szerzodéses Gyártó Kft. led the list, but a change has taken place, now another company is the largest employer in Borsod.
Mapping the Hungarian labor market with the help of the Opten company information service provider, the Pénzcentrum gathered which businesses in each county were the largest employers by the end of February this year, and whether, based on the available headcount data, their number of employees increased or decreased compared to the 2017 data.
The compilation shows that changes took place in three of the 20 counties (Budapest was added to the 19 counties).
In Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, the American Jabil Circuit Magyarország Szerzodéses Gyártó Kft., which manufactures electronic circuit boards and systems, topped the county list in 2017 with 3,926 employees, and has now become the largest employing Hungarian facility management company, B + N Referencia Zrt., which employs a total of 11,737 people.
Interesting fact: the number of employees of Tesco-Global Áruházak Zrt. in Pest county has now decreased by 8831 people (!) and crept below 10 thousand people, so its place was also taken in this county by the construction management company B + N Referencia Zrt. in Borsod.
B + N Referencia Zrt., registered in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county and starting international expansion after numerous state orders, showed the largest increase in its workforce, which increased its number of employees by 1,480 percent (1,994 people) in just one year. (via Telex.hu)
