On Thursday afternoon, Gergely Karácsony gave an interview on Partizán’s live show, in which he evaluated his past five years as mayor, expressed his opinion about Péter Magyar’s possible mayoral candidates, the cancer director’s construction project and how many selfies he took with him at the Beton.hofi concert.

Orbán posted about Karácsony having a fall. According to Karácsony, this will not be decided by Viktor Orbán, but by the people of Budapest, Fidesz of Budapest.

Vitézy and the BKK police. Karácsony does not have a problem with the proposal, but with the “sneaky political banter in his communication”, according to him, it is political inferiority to yell at the homeless. According to him, Dávid Vitézy “became a politician in the wrong sense of the word”.
Brave and his promises. According to Karácsony, he also carried out projects in five years that were not even included in his program (renovation of Blaha Lujza tér, Chain Bridge), Dávid Vitézy, on the other hand, could not fulfill a single promise, there was neither an electronic ticket system nor a Transportation Museum. “I’d be in jail if I did that!” – says.
EU resources. According to Karácsony, the capital will be able to call on larger EU funds in the next cycle than in the current one. They will be spent on public transportation, housing, greening, and social protection.
Your social media followers. He says he is popular, although he sees that a significant portion of his followers are not old enough to vote. According to his own admission, at least a thousand selfies were taken with him at the Beton.Hofi concert for two hours.
Running. He considered it a success that it has not yet been built, it is true that there is no student town, but “at least we are at zero”.
Cancer director’s investment. He predicts that there won’t be a single hoe cut in the project for at least another ten years. He is of the opinion that the interstate contract is contrary to the EU Community competition law, but the details of this are still being examined at the town hall, in any case he wants to address the issue.
The misery surrounding A-Híd Zrt. According to him, this is “bullshit”. They can look for this money in the capital, but they will not find it.
Climate Agency. This project was only able to start now because the EU grant money just arrived.
Agreements. Karácsony recently made an agreement with three student organizations to support them in the campaign, and will make similar agreements with social organizations in the coming days and weeks.
