The two men who sold drugs in Esztergom and Dorog were ordered to be remanded in custody.
According to the motion, starting in November 2023, the man from Esztergom-Kertváros sold drugs to the man from Dorog and two other users on a weekly basis at his residence. The man from Dorog resold the drugs purchased in this way in Dorog. He regularly sold drugs to nine men.
The investigating authority seized drugs from the garage of the man in Esztergom-Kertváros, from a freezer, and from the apartment and car of the man from Dorog.
Based on the motion of the Esztergom District Prosecutor’s Office, the Esztergom District Court ordered the arrest of both men for one month in a case initiated for the crime of drug trafficking. According to the court’s point of view, ordering the arrest is justified due to the difficulty of proving and the danger of repeating the crime. The order is not final, as the suspects and their lawyers have filed an appeal.
