The Lantern Boat Parade will not be missed this year either, which will be held on April 30, 2024. This year too, countless programs are being prepared before the spectacular parade in Esztergom.

On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, we will organize the event, which looks back on the decades Lantern Boat Parade in Esztergom. As part of the half-day program, in addition to the parade, we welcome those interested with a photography workshop, gastronomic experiences and a concert!
Already during the day, we prepare a wide gastronomic offer on the Kis-Duna promenade lined with food trucks and on József Attila Square. Among others, Kedvenc Kürtőskalács, BorYou Bistro, Smoke & Smell BBQ, PG’s Lángos, PitStop Pizza, MOL Fresh Corner, Galagonyás Habzóműhely, Visegrádi Sör and Star Pipe.
We organize photography workshops between 16:00 and 19:00, where participants can learn the basics of photography from renowned experts such as Lívia Czank, Emil Fodor and János Szekeres. Furthermore, thanks to the OM System, those interested will have the opportunity to view and try the entire range of the Olympus brand. Families are welcome from 4 p.m Employees of the Danube-Ipoly National Park and the Esztergom Bird Conservation Association with insect puzzles, nest presentations and other nature-related programs is waiting for you, but the Kresztergom Park is also located, where the smallest children can experience the driving experience in electric Suzuki cars.
The highlight of the day will be the Lantern Boat Parade at 8:45 p.m, where even now ships and boats decorated with creative elements and colorful lights can be viewed, while they flow along the Little Danube to the accompaniment of music. Zoltán Szujó will host the parade. Finally, at 10 p.m., the Anna and the Barbies concert you can listen to it in the area of the Rugby Club.
