Among other things, the more than HUF 350 million will be used for health care and road development, from which improvements can be realized in Kesznyéten in the county of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén through the Plus projects of the Territory and Settlement Development Operative Program (TOP).

According to Mayor Imre Kecső, out of a total of HUF 353.5 million, HUF 250 million will be allocated to the construction and equipment of a health center, HUF 44 million will be allocated to the development of public roads in the interior, and HUF 22.5 million will be allocated to the modernization of traffic safety. Parks and green infrastructure development can be realized with an additional HUF 37 million.

With the use of TOP Plusz’s previous funds and considerable own resources, the village hall was energetically modernized to the value of HUF 43 million, where the kick-off event of the health center construction project will begin.

According to the announcement of the municipality, the family nursery school in Kesznyét was expanded in the amount of HUF 140 million from the TOP, in which they are now able to take care of twenty-three children. In addition, public lighting was also modernized earlier: 65 percent energy savings were achieved by replacing 370 light fixtures.

The final section of the M6 ​​motorway in Baranya will soon be handed over

The technical handover of the final part of the M6 ​​motorway has been completed, the new section from Bóly to Villány will be handed over in the first week of May. On the other hand, motorists can only use the section of the highway up to the national border if they also reach the Hungarian border from the Croatian side.
