Bácsvíz KVSC competitors performed a series of great performances in Eger, as almost half of the 39 medals won were gold. The most outstanding results were achieved this time by Lilla Blaszák, who finished in first place in a total of six individual categories, and also enriched her great day with four more gold medals in the team. Blaszák has a serious task ahead of him, as he can also start at the university world championships in Colombia on Wednesday.
The coach of Kecskeméts, László Szabó, did not expect such outstanding successes at this stage of the year, but they will continue to work hard. Bácsvíz KVSC will next participate in the domestic qualifying competition with its competitors, which will be held on May 18. The famous urban fin swimmers also want to achieve good results here.

– I am very proud of our athletes that, despite the four-day program compressed into two days, we ended the competition by winning all the women’s relays from children to adults – assessed László Szabó, coach of Bácsvíz KVSC. – In addition, Lilla Blaszák won six individual national championship titles with sensational swims, keeping her previous form, which made her the most successful female competitor, and she will travel to the World University Championships in Colombia on Wednesday. Ágnes Szili, Zoé Turucz, Regő Wórum and Dávid Mayer secured their place at the summer continental competitions with their Hungarian championship titles and medals. In terms of our youth, it is a good sign that our children and youth competitors also won podium places and championship titles in both individual and relay events. We are in an easier stage of preparation, I did not expect such an outstanding performance at this stage of the year. Now we return to the period of hard work. The next stop is the qualification competition to be held in Kecskemét on May 18, Szabó added.

The training coaches of the competitors were Gergely Juhos, Zoltán Nagy, László Szabó, Ferenc Bács, Milán Jaksa, Zsolt Varga and János Pálfi.
