Digital Canaan has been around for some time now for our schools, but recently our children were able to enjoy another wave. Many students from Somogy received laptops again. And we adults blindly believe in the effectiveness of such donations.
In fact, we do so rightly, since if we cannot measure it properly – perhaps there is no formula for how much better the academic averages will be with the technical tools we have now received, our confidence in the effectiveness cannot be questioned. I don’t remember if schoolchildren had access to such a valuable and useful tool before. I sure didn’t get it myself. We still can’t take the canteen allowance here, but even then you had to be a child of divorced parents in the basic case, so it wasn’t for everyone. Because now all children receive these digital development tools so that they can use them for the benefit of their studies, with greater or lesser success.
What will happen to these laptops is up to the individual and the result of parental influence. Because in reality it would be better not to dream, there will be people who are just nagging or just playing with it.
Of course, no one becomes a techno-guru from a single device, but the education system is already rightly counting on it and building on it, so in the near future we can achieve that, if we haven’t succeeded in the smooth way to date, perhaps we can still eradicate digital illiteracy. What happens with the laptops is up to the individual and the parent.
