Index – Abroad – A plane departing from Budapest made an emergency landing due to a drunken passenger

A Korean woman drank too much alcohol, then kicked, hobbled and shouted on a LOT flight from Budapest to Seoul, so the pilots made an emergency landing in Kazakhstan on Monday following flight safety protocol.

According to rtl.hu, the woman caused a scene, yelling out loud on the plane. Neither his family nor the flight attendants could calm the passenger down. After the plane landed at the Astana airport, the person was arrested by the Kazakh police, but the woman suddenly fell asleep. When he woke up, he claimed to have no memory of what had happened.

According to the portal, the plane landed three hours late at Incheon International Airport in South Korea. The woman can be punished with imprisonment of up to three years or a fine of up to HUF 8 million for disorderly conduct that endangers the safety of air traffic. LOT announced that it will ban the mentioned passenger from its flights.
