The Dombay Miksa 4th Territory Defense Regiment held a tribal leadership exercise

--

The 101st Field Defense Battalion of the Dombay Miksa 4th Field Defense Regiment of the Hungarian Defense Forces has been practicing in the Maróti Forest on the border of Békéscsaba-Póstelek in recent days. The commander of the regiment, Colonel Ferenc Huszár, personally inspected the performance of the soldiers.

During the exercise, the soldiers simulated a gradual disengagement from the enemy after a raid, under cover of fire. The Maróti forest, located on the border of Békéscsaba-Póstelek, was loud with the crackling of weapons as the national guardsmen carried out the tasks of the multi-day field exercise on Wednesday.

Ferenc Huszár colonel, the commander of the 4th Area Defense Regiment of Dombay Miksa, personally inspected the military exercise, which took place in several locations, in Békéscsaba, Sándorfalva, Szeged and Dóc, in relation to the regiment’s stations.

“The importance of the exercise is that, after the formation of the training company, we have to forge a team unit from many people from many different places, for which this joint work that has just been completed is perfectly suited,” said the regimental commander.

The commander of the training squadron of the 101st Area Defense Battalion stationed in Békéscsabán, Ulbert David First Lieutenant stated that the staff performing the tasks consisted of 85 people, who simulated a response to a raid-like attack by an enemy with heavy firepower on Wednesday.

Bettina Botos Staff Sergeant highlighted as a member of the sniper platoon practicing in the Maróti forest: the soldiers’ physical endurance and mental health are also trained by the series of tasks just completed.
